If you have a very early morning flight (6am), I usually suggest that travellers book a room near the airport as it’s impossible to know what can happen on the road.

I’ve created the list from the best (first) to the least ideal means of transport to make it easy for you to make a decision. So let’s take a closer look at all the options:
Taxi
The taxi is the most reliable and fastest option. You can contact the taxi company Cooperativa Artigiana Radiotaxi either by phone or simply just book your ride online.
The journey lasts 40 minutes and the taxi will pick you up from Piazzale Roma. The estimated fare to take you from Piazzale Roma to Treviso airport is 100 euros (including the airport surcharge) and is meant for up to 4 people with their luggage.
Bus from Venice to Treviso airport Early morning
The bus option is currently the most value for money option available. There are early morning buses provided by the bus company ATVO. The first bus to leave from Piazzale Roma is, depending on the day of the week, at 4:30am, 4:10am or 5am.
It takes 1 hour to get to the airport. Alternatively, there are Barzi and Terravision shuttle buses leaving from Tronchetto from 5 am.
You can get your ATVO ticket in advance (one way or round trip) and save yourself from queuing at the airport.
You can also rely on the reliable service of private coach companies of Barzi and Terravision to get to Treviso airport from Venice in the early morning.
The first Barzi coach leaves at 5am and the first Terravision coach leaves at 5.30am- They both take 40 minutes to get to the airport. The ticket costs 10 euros and the return ticket 18 euros.
Their coaches leave from the Tronchetto island that you can reach on foot, by People Mover or vaporetto from different locations around the city.
Train (+ bus) from Venice to Treviso airport
Despite being the cheapest option, it is also the one that will take longer. From Venice Santa Lucia train station, get one of the first trains with direction Treviso Centrale. The first train leaves at 5:13am and it takes 35 minutes.
Once you get to Treviso train station, get the Treviso Airlink bus to the Treviso airport that will get you to the airport in 10 minutes. The journey by train + bus lasts approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes. You can purchase the combined ticket via the Trenitalia website.
Car
If you decided to park your car in one of the parking lots in Piazzale Roma or Tronchetto, then it’s just a matter of getting in the car and driving in the early hours of the morning to Treviso airport which won’t take more than 30 minutes.
Because of the high cost of parking in Venice this option is one of the less favourable.
Private transfer
This option is the most comfortable one but at the same time, the most expensive. Your driver can pick you up from your hotel or other strategic locations in Venice and can even help you with your luggage and then drive you to Treviso airport.
