    Some tourist agencies consider it of no prestige to deal with one-star hotels. All for nothing! Unlike many three-stars hotels, half of the windows at Caneva hotel go out to a picturesque Venetian canal with bridges and gondolas. No doubt, somebody could call the furniture in the rooms Spartan and even poor, but at the background of the traditional pretentiosity of Venetian hotels it is even a positive feature – the interior is modern and calm here. It is a beautiful hotel in the very heart of Venice, nevertheless, booking a room, don’t forget to clear out if there is a toilet in it – some of the rooms are not equipped with a lavatory.
